Southern Region President Billy Riccaldo and Region Veterans Committee Chair Ed Timberger present a $375 donation for the State Veterans Home at Montrose.

Our Southern Region Veterans Committee continues to help veterans residing at the State Veterans Home at Montrose. Recently, Southern Region President Billy Riccaldo and Southern Region Veterans Committee Chair Ed Timberger visited the facility to present a $375 check, which will be used to purchase a new television for residents.

Also donated, for the second year in a row, were some beautiful scarves made by CSEA members working at Fishkill Correctional Facility who are avid knitters in their spare time. The donations were gratefully accepted by a member of the State Veterans Home staff.

We know that many current CSEA members are veterans of our armed forces — from the Vietnam era to the most recent deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. We thank you for your service. If you’d like to become active with our Southern Region Veterans Committee, please reach out to our Southern Region President Billy Riccaldo at (845) 831-1000.
