Lucas is PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month
COMMACK — Millie Lucas, president of
the Suffolk Area Retirees Local 920 and the CSEA Retiree Executive Committee Chair, is
the PEOPLE
Recruiter of the Month for August. She recruited 12 new PEOPLE members.
“The PEOPLE program is very important to the retirees and our active brothers and sisters,” Lucas said. “The PEOPLE program helps us fight to keep our pensions, Social Security, Medicare
and Medicaid. PEOPLE is so important not only for us to maintain our dignified, secure retirements, but for future retirees to have the chance to retire securely.
CSEA’s PEOPLE program protects and improves our jobs, benefits and pensions
in Washington, Albany and in your community. Your support and participation in PEOPLE strengthens CSEA’s clout in the workplace, in the legislature,
in your community and in the labor movement.
