ALBANY — Capital District Retirees Local 999
members recently participated in a program
on services available from the New York State
Office of the Aging.
The session was sponsored by the New
York State Alliance for Retired Americans
(NYSARA)’s Capital District chapter. Local
999 President Jack Rohl serves as the
chapter’s vice president, and Local 999
members are active in the chapter.
A representative from the state Office of
the Aging discussed services and answered
questions from attendees. Learn more about

The NYS Alliance for Retired Americans
is a coalition of community groups, labor
unions and senior advocacy groups. All
CSEA Retiree members are also members of
NYSARA. Statewide, CSEA Retiree members
are active in their local NYSARA chapters.
The alliance strives to educate, advocate
and activate for social and economic justice.
