LAGRANGE — CSEA is mourning the loss of Robin
P. Alvarez, 59, a member of the Arlington Central School District Unit in Dutchess County who died on the job on March 8.
Alvarez, a bus aide, was a passenger in a district vehicle that collided with a New York State
Police sport utility vehicle at an intersection in the Town of LaGrange. CSEA and PESH are investigating.
Alvarez is survived by her husband, Fidel Alvarez, and children Robert, Dana, and Patrick, as well as extended family. According to her obituary, Alvarez had been looking forward to her daughter’s upcoming wedding, as well as becoming a first-time grandmother later this year as her son Patrick welcomes his first child. She was also an animal lover, volunteering with local animal rescues and shelters.
