6 The Work Force December 2024
CSEA members get out the vote!
Members of our union
worked hard to help elect
CSEA-endorsed candidates in
congressional, state legislative,
and local government races.
CSEA members volunteered
many hours, including on
evenings and weekends, on
campaign efforts that included
phone banks and knocking on
doors. Members of our union
also showed their support for
endorsed candidates on social
media by sharing posts and
discussing candidates’ strong
support of working people.
“Building these relationships,
regardless of party, is important
because it gives us a seat at the
table as important decisions
are being made that directly
impact the jobs and lives of CSEA
members,” said CSEA President
Mary E. Sullivan. “Thank you to
all members who volunteered to
help our endorsed candidates.
Your efforts made a difference
and are appreciated by those
elected officials.”
On these pages are photos of
some CSEA members’ efforts to
get out the vote.
