EBF welcomes new
local government units
For more than 40 years, the CSEA
Employee Benefit Fund (EBF)
has stood beside local government
CSEA members, providing essential
dental, vision and reimbursement
benefits that protect health and
strengthen financial security.
Since 1981, when local
government units first began
incorporating EBF benefits into
their contracts, more than 600
units have joined this growing
community.
In 2025, a new group of local
government bargaining units
recognized the lasting value of
quality benefits. Some expanded
their existing EBF coverage, while
others introduced these benefits
to their members for the first
time. Their decisions reflect a
shared understanding — that
comprehensive benefits are an
investment in both well-being and
workplace strength.
This success is made possible
through collaboration. Our
dedicated EBF marketing team
works closely with negotiating
teams, region staff and members to
guide every step — from planning
meetings and conference calls to
enrollment events. Together, they
ensure a smooth and successful
transition for every unit that
chooses to enhance its benefit
package.
