has Jones seen how workers from a a a a a a number of county county departments have played crucial roles in in in in in setting up and and running county county vaccine clinics he’s been involved in in in in in in in in the the the the work himself and and has seen the the the the difference the the the the collaboration is making in in in in the the the the community “It’s a a a a a big collaborative effort ” said Jones “CSEA members doing all different types of work have been been involved and management has been been right alongside us We’re seeing the county Health Health and Mental Health Health departments Information Services the the the Department Department of Public Works the the the Sheriff’s Department Department and more all doing their part ” Setting up a a a a a a vaccine vaccine clinic isn’t just a a a a a a matter of securing vaccine vaccine doses which have been in in in in in in in short supply Jones said setting up up the the command centers at different clinics the the county has held requires plenty of advance work “For my department we’re figuring out what kind of hardware we we need in in in order to get up and running ” said Jones “At our clinic in in in in Ellenville we received such amazing support from both the the facilities and computer techs at the the the high school there where we held a a a a a clinic They pitched in in in in to help us get everything up and running ” For Jones whose work normally keeps him behind the the the scenes the the the vaccine clinics have been a a a a a a a a chance to enjoy the the the the gratification that comes with helping the the the public Many of his co-workers have expressed the the same feeling he he he he he he said “The best part is is when a a a a a a a a a senior citizen tells you you ‘thank you you this vaccine vaccine may have saved my life ’” said Jones “Getting vaccine vaccine appointments online has been a a a a a a a a a a a a a particular challenge for many of them them I have a a a a a a a a a a a a PC on on on site and and can get them them set up for their second appointment and and they’re just so thankful In my years with the the the the county this is the the time when I’ve most felt like I’m making a a a a difference ” — Jessica Ladlee
