Summary of January Board of Directors Meeting Editor’s Note: The Work Force publishes a summary of actions taken by CSEA’s Board of Directors. The summary is prepared by CSEA Statewide Secretary Denise Berkley for union members. Berkley ALBANY — CSEA’s Statewide Board of Directors met on Jan. 12, 2017. In official business, the board: • Approved 2017 Maximum Miscellaneous Allowances, as contained in the Jan. 12, 2017 Statewide Treasurer’s report to the Board of Directors. • Approved Local 413 to purchase a new copier with Konica Minolta at Manhattan Psychiatric Center, 600 East 125th Street, Wards Island Complex, New York, NY 10035. The total cost of the copier is $2,931.00. As this lease term runs past the Local Officers’ current term, the Board’s approval is necessary for this lease. • Approved Local 828 Unit 7400 to enter into a lease agreement with Hulsizer Management at 1354 Buffalo Road, Suite 4, 6, 8 and 10 in Gates, NY. The lease is for four years (March 1, 2017 to Feb. 28, 2021) at a cost of $1,100.00 per month. DeGuzman (Local 762 R2), Letitia Williams (Local 762 R2) and Timothy Backus (Local 839 R5).
