Pyjas becomes CSEA Western Region President
VERONA — More than 1,000 CSEA officers and activists from across the state recently attended our 109th Annual Delegates Meeting.

  BUFFALO — On October 1, Robert “Bob” Pyjas moved into the position
of CSEA Western Region President after the retirement of longtime activist Kathy Button, who served in that role since July 2018.
Pyjas
employed by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office as a correction lieutenant at the Erie County Correctional Facility.
As a CSEA activist, Pyjas has served in numerous leadership positions on our union’s statewide, region and local levels, most recently as Executive Vice President of our CSEA Western Region. He is also a distinguished U.S. Army veteran.
