Norton named August PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month
ROCHESTER — Bruce Norton, 1st Vice President of the Rochester Area Retirees Local in the Western Region, is the PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month for August, recruiting eight new PEOPLE members.
Norton was also recently honored as the 2023-24 Retiree PEOPLE Recruiter of the Year for being the CSEA Retiree member who recruited the most new PEOPLE members. He received the honor at our union’s recent Retiree Delegates Meeting.

Bush named September PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month
COMMACK — Rutha Bush, Treasurer of the Suffolk Area Retirees Local in the Long Island Region, is the PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month for September, recruiting 24 new PEOPLE members at the MVP level.
Bush was also recently honored as the 2022-23 Retiree PEOPLE Recruiter of the Year for being
the CSEA Retiree member who recruited the most new PEOPLE members. She received the honor at our union’s recent Retiree Delegates Meeting.
“When legislators are looking
for money, the first thing they
try to go after are our pensions, Social Security and Medicare,”
said Bush. “Contributions to the PEOPLE program gives CSEA the resources to protect members from the attacks against our job security and influence the public policy that advances CSEA agenda at the local, state and federal level.”
