Learning
together keeps
our union strong
CSEA Family,
As we honor Veterans Day on
November 11, I want to take a
moment to recognize and thank all CSEA
members who have served in our nation’s
armed forces. Your courage, sacrifice, and
dedication to protecting our freedoms
represent the very best of who we are. We
are deeply grateful for your service and
for the leadership you continue to show in
your workplaces and communities.
Last month, CSEA activists gathered
in Niagara Falls for our 2025 Annual
Delegates Meeting. It was an incredible
event with well over 600 members
traveling great distances to attend. Our
theme, “Stepping Up, Standing Strong,
Tomorrow’s Leaders,” came to life in
powerful ways throughout the week.
Together, we focused on building the
skills, knowledge, and confidence that will
prepare us to face challenges head-on and
strengthen our union for the future.
From workshops that sharpened
leadership abilities, to conversations that
connected new and seasoned activists, to
moments that reminded us why solidarity
matters, this ADM truly showcased the
best of CSEA. The energy, participation,
and commitment I saw from everyone
in attendance filled me with pride and
hope. When we take the time to learn,
grow and stand strong together, we ensure
that our union remains strong for future
generations.
I encourage you to read the coverage
of the ADM throughout this issue of The
Work Force. The lessons and inspiration
we brought home will help every local,
unit and region continue to thrive.
To everyone who took part, planned,
presented, or supported this year’s
ADM — thank you. And speaking of
thank- yous, as we look ahead to the
holiday of giving thanks, I want to wish all
of our union members and their families a
very Happy Thanksgiving. Have a safe and
fun holiday!
In solidarity,
Mary E. Sullivan, President
