CSEA negotiating team members from the New York State Unified Court System and state officials signed the recently ratified contract. The contract covers more than 5,500 non-judicial employees in the state’s Unified Court System. The three-year agreement, retroactive
to April 1, 2017, includes salary increases in every year of the agreement, improved downstate
and Mid-Hudson Valley location pay, improved payments to the Employee Benefit Fund and a new Welfare Fund program and across-the-board cost of living adjustments.

I not only want to protect our pensions, but the constitution protects our right to organize and collectively bargain. Other states have lost these rights because their constitutions didn’t protect unions. We have to keep this protection in New York. Vote NO.”
