CSEA Western New York DDSO Local member Michele Hill, right, speaks with AFSCME International Federal Policy Analyst Getsemani Yanez about workplace rights during the Chautauqua County member engagement visit. “I would never quit on my co-workers or my union,” Hill said as she signed a Never Quit pledge card. “We have to stick together — that is our path to success.”
From left, Orange County Unit members Tina Dzierzek, Teresa Yanosh and Nancy Van Tilburg, who all work at the county’s Valley View Nursing Home, pledge to Never Quit our union. They are among the hundreds of members who participated in our member engagement visit in Orange County last month, during which our members got the chance to share their questions and concerns to move toward building a stronger union.
“I would never quit on my union. I’ve got too many years in and too

Even during summer,
we Never Quit
CSEA leaders, members and staff were hard at work reaching out to our members in St. Lawrence, Orange and Chautauqua counties over the summer.
In Chautauqua and St. Lawrence counties, member volunteers and staff visited work sites and knocked on doors across each county, often in remote locations, to hear our members’ concerns and help us all build and strengthen our union.
In Orange County, hundreds of members expressed their concerns at work site meetings. On this page are photos from the events.
