Work Zone Awareness

There is a work zone fatality every 11 hours and a work zone injury every 13 minutes in the U.S.

Working on or near traveled roads is one of the most dangerous worksites for CSEA members.

More than 50 CSEA members have been killed working on New York’s roads since 1983.

We all know statistics don’t tell the whole story.

Real life examples drive change. If you’re a CSEA member who’s been involved in a significant work zone incident that resulted in injury or property damage, email us at Share your story and help us fight for tougher penalties and better safety standards!

We must all do our part to ensure everyone’s safety in work zones.
