Sisters and brothers,
I cannot thank you enough for all you do every day. No matter where you work, your dedication and hard work provide the foundation for so many services New Yorkers rely on.
When our communities need us, we always step up and answer the call. I feel it is important that our communities join us in visibly recognizing and appreciating your work.
On the next page is a full-page poster that you can clip out and post in public places. We have copies of these posters available in our region offices that you can pick up and post around your community. I urge you to have business owners post them in their shop windows. It’s time to show everyone in our communities that our work matters, and we deserve community-wide recognition.
As we recognize Public Service Recognition Week during the first week of May, and CSEA Appreciation Day on Monday, May 23, please join me in thanking yourself and your co-workers for all you do. Remember to share your appreciation with your fellow CSEA members you may come in contact with doing important work that matters to all New Yorkers.
