WADING RIVER — The Long Island Veterans Committee recently held its annual Memorial Day ceremony at Calverton National Cemetery.
During the event, our members and guests paid tribute to the brave men and women that sacrificed their lives for our freedom. The program included special readings and prayers.
After the ceremony, attendees placed flags at the gravesites of CSEA members, relatives of members and others affiliated with our union who had served our country.
