Buffalo – The Executive Board members of CSEA Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Local 303 recently named four recipients to their first annual Local 303 Member Scholarship Award.

The award program was open to active members in good standing that are enrolled in an academic or vocational program. A written essay and short biography were requirements for eligibility and the scholarship was open to both full time and part time students. Each of the award winners received $500.

Local President Paula Love said her executive board members were very proud of the fact they were in position to offer some financial assistance to fellow members who are career oriented. Love said, “It was a big thrill to award our co-workers with scholarships, especially at a time when family budgets have been compromised by a slumping economy. We can’t wait to do this again next year.”

The 2021 CSEA Roswel Park Local 303 Member Scholarship Award winners are:

Hector L. Tirado lll, Investigational Drug Service Associate
Delaney Finewood, Hospital Clinical Assistant
Nzabayo Gato, Hospital Clinical Assistant
