ALBANY — The reviews are in, and our union’s efforts to engage members with an evening of comedy were a big hit during very unsettling times.

In late February, CSEA held a Zoom Comedy Hour online, featuring four New York-based comedians, each of whom delivered their hilarious takes on the strange times we are living through.

In a follow-up survey, members overwhelmingly raved about the event, thanking CSEA for the opportunity to laugh.

“It was a fun night, and I’m happy so many of my fellow members found relief through us hosting this event,” said CSEA President Mary E. Sullivan. “We will look at hosting more entertaining events to engage members online, even as we hope to soon return to in-person gatherings.”
