SEA is mourning member engagement blitz events, the loss of spending many hours reaching out
former longtime employee Tim Vallee, who passed away Dec. 20, 2021. He was 59.
Vallee, who
grew up in Troy
and graduated from Lansingburgh High School and Hudson Valley Community College, had started his career with our union in 1983 as a posting clerk at CSEA Headquarters.
He later held numerous titles throughout CSEA before becoming a labor relations specialist based

passed away Dec.
16 following a battle with cancer. He was 60.
Morrison began his career with CSEA in the 1990s working as a statewide organizer. He became a labor relations specialist in 1997 and was primarily assigned to locals and units in the greater Dutchess County area.
Known for his compassionate nature, patience and sense of humor, Morrison never hesitated to stand with CSEA members during difficult times. He often spent evenings
going door to door with members facing outsourcing or layoffs. He also actively volunteered with
to members at their homes and workplaces.
When requests came for volunteers for get-out-the-vote efforts in support of CSEA-endorsed candidates, he never hesitated to help.
In his spare time, he enjoyed visiting baseball stadiums across the country and was a diehard fan of the New York Mets.
Morrison is survived by his life partner, Rhonda; his daughter, Carrie; his brother and sister, nieces and nephews, stepdaughter and step- grandchildren. His mother, Judith Morrison, who predeceased him,
was also a CSEA employee who had served as the office manager in the Southern Region office. A celebration of life was held Dec. 22 in Fishkill.

In his free time, Vallee enjoyed aerobics, swimming, rafting, enjoying sunsets and traveling to Florida. According to his obituary, he was known as the ‘life of the party,’ who loved his family and friends.
Vallee is predeceased by his parents, John and Grace (Saxby) Vallee, who were CSEA activists. He leaves his husband, Kevin Kennedy; siblings, including his sister who
is also a longtime CSEA employee; nieces and nephews; aunts and numerous friends, including those he met while working for CSEA.

Deadlines for submitting proposed changes to CSEA’s Constitution and By-Laws; proposed Resolutions
Proposed amendments to
the CSEA Constitution for consideration by CSEA delegates to the union’s 2022 Regular Delegates Meeting must be submitted by May 15, 2022.
Proposed amendments to the CSEA By-Laws for consideration by CSEA delegates to the union’s 2022 Regular Delegates Meeting must be submitted by June 15, 2022.
Proposed Resolutions for consideration by CSEA delegates to the union’s 2022 Regular Delegates Meeting must be submitted by July 1, 2022. Proposed Resolutions may be
submitted only by a delegate. Proposed amendments to the
Constitution must be submitted no later than May 15, 2022, proposed amendments to the By-Laws must be submitted no later than June 15, 2022, and proposed Resolutions must be submitted no later than July 1, 2022, to Statewide Secretary Richard Bebo, CSEA Headquarters, 143 Washington Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12210-2303.
These proposals must be submitted on the proper forms, which are available from the Statewide Secretary’s Office at CSEA Headquarters and region offices.
