Local government dental plan enhancements: Great plans made even better
Oral health is increasingly being linked to overall health, making it more important than ever to provide
CSEA members with quality dental plans.
The CSEA Employee Benefit Fund (EBF) dental plans
promote oral health
through excellent
features and benefits designed to keep our members’ teeth and gums healthy.
EBF is proud to
announce several
enhancements to our
local government
group plans, demonstrating our commitment to the health and wellness of our members by adding even more value to your negotiated dental plans.
In October 2024, the EBF Board of Trustees approved measures that
enhance our local government group plans, including the Sunrise, Horizon, Equinox and Dutchess dental plans.
This marks one of the EBF’s most comprehensive upgrades to Local Government group dental plans,
with strategic increases in allowances for the most utilized procedures. Plan allowances have been increased across nearly every category of service, including exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, crowns, root canals, periodontal treatments, dentures, extractions,
orthodontic procedures. Additionally, the enhancements
place greater focus on implants and abutments, which are becoming more common in dental care. These improvements help recruit and retain providers while reducing out-of-
pocket costs for members who visit non-participating providers.
