Thank you for all you do:
CSEA Member Appreciation events in May
Dutchess County Unit 1st Vice President Betty Kaba, a public safety dispatcher 2, works at her dispatching console at the Dutchess County Emergency Response Department. Our union recently observed National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, when we celebrate these workers who are instrumental in emergency response, often representing the line between life and death. Here’s a peek behind the scenes of the CSEA Member Appreciation Day video shoot on Long Island. From left to right are New York State AFL- CIO Director of Field Operations Kevin Eitzmann, AFSCME International Videographer Javier Pierrend and CSEA Nassau County Local member Oscar Batres, a laborer at the county’s Eisenhower Park who is featured in the video, which will soon be posted on cseany.org.
