Summary of July Board of Directors Meeting

The Work Force publishes a summary of actions taken by CSEA’s Board of Directors. The summary
is prepared by CSEA Statewide Secretary Richard Bebo for union members.

• Approved the Investment Committee Report of July 18, 2024, as presented to the Board of Directors.
• Approved dissolving CSEA Local 704, Inframark (Region 3).
• Approved dissolving CSEA Local 711, Croton Free Library (Region 3).
• Approved the transfer of a member from NYSDOT Local 505 (Utica) to Black River Valley Employees Local 015 (Region 5).
• Approved dissolving CSEA Audit & Control Local 651 and transferring the members to CSEA Employees’ Retirement System Local 652 (Region 4).
• Approved changing the name of SU College at Buffalo Local 640 to SUNY Buffalo State University Local 640
(Region 6).
• Approved the transfer of
two members from Alden Correctional Facility Local
175 (Region 6) to Collins Correctional Facility Local 174 (Region 6).
• Approved the appointments
of Barbara Homburger, (Local 852), Barbara Truglio and Patricia Davila (Local 865) and Abraham Johnson (Local 430) to the Region 1 Political Action Committee.
• Approved the appointments
of Shaun Francis (Local 447), Angela Vasquez (Local 762), Benita Smith (Local 351), Letitia Williams (Local 762) and George Roberts (Local 443) to the Region 2 Political Action Committee.
• Approved the appointments of Jennifer Regg (Local 635), Dylan Freyer (Local 449) and Ali Cottrell (Local 615) to
the Region 5 Political Action
Committee.
• Approved the appointment
of Jim Brand (Local 922) to the Region 6 Political Action Committee.
• Approved the Director’s Personnel Committee Report of
July 18, 2024, as presented to
the Board of Directors.

ALBANY — CSEA’s statewide Board of Directors met on July 18, 2024. In official business, the board:
• Approved permitting Locals to choose the GSA rate for meals at $79 per day or remain at the regular CSEA daily rate of $55 for the 2024 ADM in New York City.
• Approved Local 412, Hudson Valley DDSO, located at 3 Wilbur Road, Suite #64, Thiells, NY 10994 to enter into a
copier agreement with Atlantic Tomorrows Office. The term
of the lease is 36 months at a cost of $355 per month plus tax. As this lease term runs past the Local Officers’ current term, the Board’s approval is necessary for the lease.
• Local 823, Jefferson County, located at 215 Washington Street, Suite 108, Watertown, NY 13601-3343 to enter into
a copier agreement with Advanced Business Systems, Inc. The term of the lease is for 60 months at a cost of $118.29 per month plus tax. As this lease term runs past the Local Officers’ current term, the Board’s approval is necessary for the lease.
• Local 880, Town of Hempstead, located at 1580 Merrick Road, Suite 212, Merrick, NY 11566 is requesting approval to enter into a phone system contract with VoIPX International, Inc. The term of the lease is for
