ALBANY – CSEA’s statewide Board of Directors met on July 24, 2025. In official business, the board:
• Approved meal allowances for the 2025 ADM in Niagara Falls, NY at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) rate.
• Approved the charter
of a new Local: Nassau University Medical Center Local 831 (Region 1).
• Approved amending subdivision language of the Local, Unit, Private Sector and Retiree Constitutions regarding honorariums.
• Approved the 2025 Election Schedule for CSEA Private Sector Board Seats (2).
• Approved the appointments to the Region Political Action Committees.

CSEA announces 2025 statewide scholarship recipients
Our union is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Irving Flaumenbaum, Pearl Insurance
and MetLife Insurance Company Scholarships.
CSEA presents the scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors who are eligible dependents of CSEA members. Congratulations to all of the recipients.

Zamor named June PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month
THIELLS — Marie Zamor of the Hudson Valley DDSO Local in the Southern Region is the PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month for June, recruiting 18 new PEOPLE members.
