CENTRAL ISLIP — The Long Island Ducks minor league baseball team recently held CSEA night at Bethpage Ballpark.

The annual event is CSEA’s way of promoting our “Don’t Zone Out” campaign, which is aimed at ending distracted driving and enforcing work zone safety. It’s also a way for our union to boost our name recognition and visibility. About 60 CSEA members came out for the game.

Long Island Region President Nick LaMorte staffed the CSEA table, where he greeted attendees and provided them with CSEA giveaways. He also threw the first pitch.
