WHITE PLAINS — CSEA recently endorsed state Sen. George Latimer in the race for Westchester County executive. Latimer is working to unseat incumbent Rob Astorino.

CSEA members turned out on their lunch breaks to join Southern Region President Billy Riccaldo, Westchester County Local President John Staino and Westchester County Unit President Karen Pecora in announcing the endorsement.

The CSEA leaders cited Latimer’s years of experience in city, county and state government, as well as his commitment to improving aging county infrastructure, as factors in the endorsement.

As this edition went to press, endorsements for the general election were not finalized. Watch our website at cseany.org for more information.
