Long Island Region members attend a rally in front of the Nassau County Legislature to encourage the public to vote ‘no’ on a constitutional convention.
CSEA members and our allies came out in force to urge New Yorkers to vote NO on the constitutional convention, as well as for endorsed candidates in key local government races.
We got out the word that the convention would be a bad idea for New York through social media, literature and most importantly, one-on-one conversations with our union brothers and sisters, families, friends and neighbors. On Election Day, we came out in force to vote NO!
When we work together and stand strong, we can win! Here are our get-out-the-vote efforts from across the state.
