COMMACK — Our Long Island Region Veterans Committee members have shown their commitment to the season of giving by dropping off donations to several veterans facilities across Long Island.

Items such as canned food, gloves and toiletries were delivered to the Northport VA Hospital, Boots on the Ground, The Long Island State Veterans Home and The Veterans Place. All items were donated by CSEA members.

The last stop was at the United Veterans Beacon House, where a large amount of freshly cleaned clothes, donated by a CSEA staff member, were delivered to the thrift store. The proceeds from that donation will go to homeless and needy veterans.

Committee members were thrilled to have collected enough donations to deliver to five different locations, thanks to the generosity of our members.
