BRENTWOOD — CSEA members consistently give back to the communities in which we live and work.
One more recent display of generosity comes from our Long Island Region Women’s Committee who donated several bags of toys to Outreach in Brentwood.

Outreach is a non-profit organization that provides alcohol and drug abuse treatment and evidence-based behavioral health services and training, which help families move in a positive direction. The organization’s Brentwood location is one of seven such centers on Long Island and in New York City.

This year, our Women’s Committee collected enough toys for 17 children whose parents use Outreach’s services, with some of the children receiving as many as three gifts.

The holiday season isn’t the only time committee members work with Outreach.

“In August, we collect school supplies for the kids,” said Long Island Region Women’s Committee Chair Millie Lucas. “It’s important to us to give back to the community.”
