CSEA Labor Relations Specialist Guy DiCasola and Suffolk Educational Local 870 Recording Secretary Victoria Smith review important facts before a home visit.

COMMACK — CSEA Long Island Region member volunteers and staff recently visited our members’ homes and work sites in eastern Suffolk County to hear their concerns and build our union.

During the recent visits, which included Riverhead and points east, we urged our members to stick with our union. Many of the members we visited pledged to Never Quit our union.

During the three-day visit, one of which was cut short due to a nor’easter in the area, member volunteers and CSEA staff had conversations with hundreds of members at their homes and workplaces.

The volunteers also left literature at many more homes, proving that snow is no match for our members and our drive to stay union, stay strong.
