COMMACK — Leadership roles in our union can be challenging, but we never quit at making sure our activists are well prepared.

New and returning local and unit officers in our region recently completed our union’s Presidents and Vice Presidents Workshop, which was held at our Long Island Region office and several other locations throughout the region.

The three-hour-long session is designed to give attendees insight into the roles and responsibilities of their positions. CSEA requires that officers be trained to help them successfully fulfill their union responsibilities to our members.

Our union offers many trainings and workshops that you should consider taking advantage of. Whether it be grievance training, steward workshops or representing members in discipline and interrogation, CSEA has got you covered.

We also offer civil service test preparation workshops, which includes in-person and online sessions.
Visit cseany.org or our region Facebook page at CSEA Long Island Region 1 for the latest workshop postings.
