MELVILLE — Hundreds of members recently attended the Nassau Educational 865 Annual School District Career Conference.
The one-day event is free to all CSEA members working for school districts in Nassau County. Attendees learn life skills that they can use on and off the job.
A few of this year’s workshops included Retirement (All Tiers), Stress From the Womb to the Tomb and Member Benefits.
CSEA Statewide Treasurer Bill Walsh, Long Island Region President Nick LaMorte and Nassau Educational Local President Monica Berkowitz all gave addresses to attendees about how staying union helps us build strength at our worksites.
