SYRACUSE — “Don’t rely on luck, go union” read the CSEA banner that hung on the side of the trolley as it drove through the streets of downtown Syracuse for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, preceded by CSEA activists marching with their brothers and sisters in labor.

It was a message echoed on lapel stickers and the proud union members wearing them throughout Central New York as CSEA members participated in St. Patrick’s Parades in Binghamton, Utica and Syracuse. Here are a few photos taken at those events:
