COMMACK — Andrea Glenn of our Long Island Developmental Disabilities Services Office and Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center Local is the PEOPLE Recruiter of the Month for February. She recruited 39 new PEOPLE members.

“The PEOPLE program is important because it’s an avenue to address important legislative matters that are specific to CSEA members,” said Glenn. “It’s only a few dollars per month and with every dollar that we collect, we have a bigger voice.”

“The PEOPLE program also helps us to advocate for things pertaining to your health and pensions,” said Glenn. “PEOPLE was a part of going to Albany and lobbying to stop the work-to-rule order. If we don’t have [a voice], we’re doomed.”

CSEA’s PEOPLE program protects and improves our jobs, benefits and pensions in Washington, Albany and in your community. Your support and participation in PEOPLE strengthens CSEA’s clout in the workplace, in the legislature, in your community and in the labor movement.
