CSEA Long Island Region Treasurer Barbara Homburger, right, explains the significance of the CSEA recommitment card to member Naomi Royster.
CSEA Nassau County Municipal Employees Local members recently showed they are union strong during our union’s recent member engagement visit to homes and worksites across the county.
The worksite meetings, including one City of Long Beach meeting that drew more than 200 members, proved to be particularly successful. As with previous member engagement visits, members were also receptive to discussing our union with our volunteers at their homes.
In addition to hundreds of worksite and home visits, member volunteers and staff left more than 1,700 pieces of CSEA literature for members during the three-day event. Hundreds of CSEA members also signed recommitment cards.
