MOUNT SINAI — The self-proclaimed “CSEA Crazies” were at it again.
The Polar Plunge team took a cold dip into the waters of Cedar Beach at the Town of Brookhaven’s 10th Annual Polar Plunge.
This year, the plungers raised about $2,000 through donations, t-shirt sales and food sales on the day of the event.
All proceeds go to Special Olympics New York, an organization that provides year-round sports training to individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization aims to use sports as a tool to encourage inclusion for those with intellectual disabilities into our larger society.
