EAST NORTHPORT — CSEA Long Island Region members recently marked the holiday season with their union family at the region holiday gathering.

Hundreds of members attended the event, which is coordinated by our Long Island Region Social Committee.

At the event, the Social Committee and the region board presented Long Island Region President Nick LaMorte with a cake in honor of his last term as region president.

Long Island Region President Nick LaMorte presents newly retired Suffolk County Local 852 President Matt Hattorff with a plaque in honor of Hattorff’s many years as an activist.

LaMorte presented former Suffolk County Local 852 President Matt Hattorff, who recently retired, with a plaque, to commemorate Hattorff’s many years as a CSEA activist.

LaMorte also presented a certificate of appreciation to SUNY Stony Brook Local 614 Executive Vice President Louise Melious, who is stepping down from her position.

Also attending the event were guests, including Statewide President Mary E. Sullivan and former President Danny Donohue.
