Like communities across New York State, Long Island has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. As public health officials learn more about the virus, our members across Nassau and Suffolk counties have had to respond to the rapidly-changing situation.
Our members, including those employed in essential services such as health care, direct care, and many more
settings, are continuing to provide vital services to all New Yorkers.
They are also on the front lines responding to this pandemic, making sure our communities are as healthy and safe as possible, including continuing to provide basic needs to those who need it the most.
On this page are a few of many examples of how CSEA members on Long Island have been standing strong and working nonstop to help their communities.
