ALBANY — Due to ongoing health and safety concerns, and the loss of our planned on-site location in Buffalo, our union will conduct our 111th Annual Delegates Meeting completely virtually on September 27 through October 1.

Because of this all-virtual format, we are opening participation to all union members, not just officers and delegates, and there is no cost to attend!

Our all-new online platform will give attendees the complete experience of a live, in-person conference event in our virtual venue, utilizing state-of-the-art technology that will keep you involved and empowered, and allow more idea sharing between participants.

As a non-voting convention, our focus will be on leadership and activist education, with our theme of “Empowering CSEA Leaders.” We will come together virtually for an exciting week of online skill building, solution sharing, networking, and recharging our activist energy. We will hear from inspiring and engaging speakers and learn from subject matter presenters on topics that will make us all better, stronger, more confident leaders, strengthening our union. Our educational sessions will follow three distinct Leadership/Activist Training Tracks: New Officers ABCs Workshops; Leadership Workshops; and Activist/Advocate Workshops. We will also present our union’s top activist awards.

Register now, as conference registration closes on September 8. Due to the constraints of our digital platform, there will be no late registrations allowed. You can get more information and register by visiting our ADM site at: cseany.org/empowering-csea-leaders (NOTE: you must have an account and be logged into our website to access this page and register). Although registration is open to everyone, some workshops will have attendance limits, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Members with questions about registration, or to register by phone, please call our Central Files Department, at 518-257-1214. You MUST provide a valid personal email address (not employer-provided) to register for the ADM.
