MANHATTAN — Barbara Rustin, president of the New York Metropolitan Retirees Local in the Metropolitan Region, is the PEOPLE recruiter of the month for September. She recruited 19 new PEOPLE members.
“The PEOPLE program is more important than ever,” said Rustin. “We face many challenges as public employees. We need to have a voice in the political process and hold elected officials accountable to working families.”
