Harry Bronson endorsed by CSEA
WNY – (May 6, 2020) CSEA has formally announced it is backing NYS Assembly member Harry Bronson in his primary re-election bid to keep his seat in the 138 Assembly District (Rochester, Henrietta, Chili). Primary Election Day is June 23.
Harry Bronson has served our community with distinction since he was first elected to the NYS legislature in 2010. Along with almost every other labor and civil rights organization in New York State, CSEA looks forward to continuing our partnership with Mr. Bronson.
Steve Healy, Western Region President calls Bronson a champion for working people. “No one works harder than Harry—and gets proven results,” said Healy.
Healy added, “We are thrilled to support and partner with an elected official that respects and understands the value of public employees and worker rights. We will do everything in our power to make sure he keeps his seat in the Assembly,” he said.
“I am so humbled to have the support and endorsement of the members of CSEA,” said Assemblymember Harry Bronson.
After learning of the endorsement, Bronson went on to say, “In times such as this, the COVID-19 crisis, families of New York rely on the dedicated leadership and work of the members of CSEA, and every day they are proving indispensable. From the front line of this crisis, CSEA members are standing with our communities and I am proud to stand with them as they make New York work.
