Though the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how CSEA does many things, union members were still getting out the vote for our union’s endorsed candidates as Election Day neared.
CSEA members got the chance to meet with endorsed candidates and union leaders and activists during recent, socially distanced drive-through information days.
Other union activists worked to get out the vote through social media, virtual meetings and making telephone calls to voters in battleground states in support of electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
In the Southern Region, CSEA activists joined other area labor unions to support State Sen. Pete Harckham for re-election during an in-person event at which participants wore masks.
CSEA leaders also urged members to serve as poll workers.
