Nearly 4,500 CSEA members in Tier 6 recently took part in our union’s survey on what matters most in the fight for tier equity.
When asked to rank possible changes, members identified these top priorities:
- Lowering pension contribution rates
- Increasing the value of a pension at 20 years of service to match Tiers 4 and 5
- Reducing penalties for retiring before age 63
Tier 6 reform will be at the top of CSEA’s legislative agenda in 2026, but we can’t win these changes without member action.
