CSEA Director of Legislative and Political Action Joshua Terry delivered testimony before the state legislature in February. Our union is urging lawmakers to strengthen workforce investments in the proposed FY 2027 state budget, calling for Tier 6 pension reforms, improved recruitment and retention measures, and enhanced protections for frontline workers. In budget testimony, the union also backed increased funding for higher education, health care, childcare and transportation safety while opposing proposals it said would shift costs onto retirees and undermine public services.
