ALBANY– CSEA kicked off today the union’s CSEA Member Appreciation Month, which highlights the dedication of union members to performing essential services in every community in New York.
CSEA Member Appreciation Month will shine a spotlight on the vital services that CSEA members perform throughout the state, including those that the public may not always see but its impact is always felt.
“Every single day, CSEA members are the backbone of our communities, keeping our schools running, maintaining our public spaces, ensuring vital health and safety services, and supporting countless government operations that New Yorkers rely on,” said CSEA President Mary E. Sullivan. “From the early mornings to late at night, the dedication, professionalism, and care of CSEA members to their communities makes a difference in every corner of our state. Whether CSEA members are plowing roads in winter, assisting patients in state facilities, managing office operations, keeping our transportation systems moving, or caring for children in schools and childcare, they are the heart of public service.”
During May, CSEA will show gratitude to members through hosting and sponsoring special Member Appreciation events in every region of the state.
