Tier 6 reform takes effect
Gov. Kathy Hochul signed Tier 6 reforms that put money back in tens of thousands of public employees’ pockets. Tier 6 members earning $75,000 or less will contribute just 3% toward their pension beginning October 1. The change will cover about 90% of Tier 6 members. CSEA is continuing the fight toward full pension reform.
