CSEA Employee Benefit Fund: your benefits resource The CSEA Employee Benefit Fund (EBF) has a Senior Benefits Specialist in each local government region to help with the complex process of negotiating our dental and vision plans and/ or other miscellaneous benefits into local government contracts. The specialists are available to attend negotiation sessions, membership meetings, information days and give benefit presentations. They are also available to prepare dental or vision comparisons so that when you go to the negotiating table you are fully informed of your options. Our senior benefits specialists are here to help CSEA members, so make sure you know who to contact when you need us. EBF also has state benefits specialists to assist state members with their fund benefits. The state representatives are available to attend information days and membership meetings, give presentations to members about their benefits and answer any questions members may have about their dental and vision coverage and prescription drug co-payment reimbursement benefit. All of this information and much more can be found at www.cseaebf.com. Our website is very user friendly and regularly updated. It does not require a user name or password to navigate. You may search for providers in your area, download forms such as our universal enrollment form, student proof form and HIPAA authorization form. You can also send us an email directly from the website, get the latest news and updates or change your address. Just remember: we’re here for you! Are you thinking about retiring? CSEA locals may pay the first year of CSEA Retiree dues, which are only $24. These days, you can’t take anything for granted. You need your union to protect what you have and likewise, we need you to maintain strength in numbers. Dues are only $2 per month and can be deducted directly from your pension check.
