Safety and Health
Each day, more than 14 workers are killed on the job and thousands more are seriously injured or diagnosed with illnesses as a result of work. A safe and healthy workplace is not just a dream: It’s the law. All employers in New York state are required to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards. Your Occupational Safety and Health Department is here to help ensure your right to a safe and healthy workplace. CSEA has one of the largest and most comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health departments in the country to help protect you.
Insurance
CSEA offers insurance resources for members, including health, life, home, dental and vision, automobile and disability. In addition, find insurance information for retirees.
Legal Services
CSEA’s Legal Department offers protection to members by litigating cases in the area of labor and employment law, as well as providing legal counsel to the organization and to several standing board committees, including our judicial board and our statewide election committee.
