While state and national elections tend to get more attention, this year is an important election year for many CSEA members.

In November, voters will elect candidates to local government offices, including county, city, town and village offices.

These elections are extremely important not only to CSEA members who work for local governments, but to their communities. Local government elected leaders make important policy and budgetary decisions that directly affect New Yorkers’ quality of life every day.

Through CSEA’s member-driven endorsement process, our union has made more than 100 endorsements in races across the state.

Stay informed about the races in your community by visiting cseany.org/vote.

The site is regularly updated with endorsements as they come in. Watch upcoming editions and cseany.org for more coverage of priority races across the state and CSEA members’ efforts to elect candidates who stand with working people.
