More than 6,000 CSEA Retiree Division members live in Florida, but they are still connected to their home state.
At recent membership meetings for the three CSEA locals in Florida — Florida Retirees West Local 950, Florida Retirees East Local 951 and Florida Retirees North Local 952 — members met with their local and statewide officers, including CSEA President Danny Donohue, Long Island Region President Nick LaMorte and Central Region President Colleen Wheaton, and were strongly urged to play an active role in their union, even after retiring.
Members also got key updates on federal and state politics and legislation, learned to guard against identity theft while online and received key information on their health insurance, supplemental insurance programs, discount buying and other CSEA member benefits.
