ALBANY — CSEA Capital Region President Shana Davis was recently honored with Capital District Area Labor Federation’s 2025 President’s Award.
The honor recognizes area labor’s strongest leaders whose efforts go beyond union work to make communities better. CSEA members, officers, staff, family and friends were in attendance to support Davis.
CSEA Executive Assistant to the President Sharon Lovelady-Hall, who also serves as the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists’ (CBTU) Region 1 Representative, presented Davis with her award. Davis also serves as president of CBTU’s Capital District Chapter.
“She goes from sun up to sun up,” said Lovelady-Hall of Davis’ activism and work ethic.
